Ceiling brick house worth 800 million VND (24.500 USD) in Hanoi causes fever in the community because of its unique and strange beauty.
The house is located on a land of 66.7 m2 near the ring road with high traffic density in Co Nhue, Hanoi. The land is surrounded by high-rise buildings. And there is a lack of trees and public space.

With 66.7 m2 (4.2 x 16) of land, the house has to leave space in its back and front for trees, which facilitate the air circulation in the house. The house design is inspired by the Hanoi ancient house with many open garden features, russet bricks, combined with convenient elements of modern life.

The house has a rough appearance with russet bricks, granite, which creates a rustic and homely feeling as well as saves the construction expense. The main materials of furniture are oak wood – wood of good quality, durability, and economical feasibility. The total cost to complete and furnish the house is only about 800 million VND (24.500 USD).

With the idea of a nature-oriented design, the design of the house won the 2017 Green Architecture Award. Many international newspapers have praised this unique construction for smartly utilizing locally available materials.
Ha Tinh: A strange rustic brick house in the countryside
Located in a peaceful land, T House brings a feeling of a simple and rustic rural home.
The front of T House is built with russet bricks and without plastered. The front is designed in a cross shape reminiscent of the image of a cross in Christianity.

T House has 2 floors, in which the first floor has a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, and a toilet. The first floor of T House is surrounded by a prominent russet brick wall.

Behind the gate is a large yard to be a buffer space and a parking area for the homeowners. The combination of a russet brick wall and green trees creates a peaceful space.

No elaborate furniture, the corners of the room still become a highlight with the russet brick walls when the homeowner looks through the large glass door.
Hai Duong: The cool brick house
Located in a new urban area of Hai Duong city, the 3-storey house named Kai House attracts attention with fancy outside designs made of wood and bricks.

The owner of the house – an experienced architect orientated to optimize the space of the house, especially emphasize the flexibility in using greenery and garden. Open space is the highest priority in this design. Creative architecture with Vietnamese rough materials but unique. The design has many uses that make the house to be praised by the West newspaper.

The entire exterior facade is designed with wooden slats and bricks. This facade design facilitates ventilation and air while bringing light to the living space.

The brick color walls become harmonious with the rough ceiling and simple wooden slats. The house brings a feeling of plainness but no less different.

The owners want their homes to be organized as well as possible; and everything is airy, neat and minimalistic.
Therefore, architects have used green trees combined with raw color materials such as russet tones, roof tiles, cement ceiling walls to create a natural, rustic space.

The outside area of the house

The livingroom
With the land of about 100m2 (9.5x10m), the house was designed with sufficient functions in 2 storeys with a total area of 116m2.
The first floor includes the living room, kitchen, and toilet. The remaining area on the first floor is reserved for greenery and garden. Brick walls create impressive beauty for the house.

2nd floor includes a master bedroom with a toilet and open-green-space ahead. The second-floor area is closed by the wooden slats facade. The hallway combines the worship space with the small bedroom; two areas were separated by the folding glass door.
