Recently, It’s on the streets in Thanh Xuan Dist, Cau Giay Dist, Dong Da Dist that a series of new-style trash bins have appeared.

Mr. Luu Hong Cu living in Nhan Chinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, said: “Since the presence of these new trash bins, the streets are much more beautiful. People have become more aware of keeping the environment clean. I see the creative trash bins beautified the city streets and I hope that will be motivation for each citizen to raise their awareness for a green-clean-beautiful environment ”
The trash bins have a strong structure, ensuring safety during the using process. The high-tech trash bins can be not only used for storage but also equipped with solar panels and information boards conveying environmental protection messages. Especially, they can give out light when it is dark.
These light-emitting bins have 2 separate compartments: one for recycling waste and the other for non-recyclable waste.
The project of supplying and installing a technology trash bins system will combine with advertising functions. This project was approved by the People’s Committee of Hanoi at the end of 2019.

It is said that in the first phase from the beginning of 2020 to July 2021, about 3,000 high-tech bins will be installed in Hai Ba Trung Dist, Dong Da Dist, Hoan Kiem Dist, Ba Dinh Dist, Thanh Xuan Dist, Cau Giay Dist.
