LAUNCHING A WEBSITE ABOUT CULTURAL AND CREATIVE HUBS VIETNAM

The British Council in Vietnam, in partnership with Vietnam’s Cultural Creative Hubs Network, has presented an online learning portal and an online public seminar focusing on culture and creativity – Culture Connects in this early morning, June 15, 2020.


The website includes 13 online courses and 4 seminars on cultural and creative which are developed for providing useful knowledge and practical skills for the new generation – those preserve the arts and culture of Vietnam.

Courses and seminars will be continuously held in Hanoi in the coming time

Culture Connects – 13 Online Courses about art management

Each course in Culture Connects has lessons prepared by experts with practical examples, pictures, illustrations and exercises.  Learners can access this content at any time and can watch it over and over again. During the learning process, learners can send questions to expert groups for support and advice.  After finishing the course, learners will be able to receive a certificate from the program if they have at least 80% correct answers in the final test.

These online courses are free, but registration in advance is required at

Culture Connects – Four Online Seminars

Besides, 4 in-depth seminars on topics related to social enterprise models, freedom of artistic expression, film festivals as a creative cultural space and effective symbiosis, will also be held in June and July. These seminars are organized online. Participants can learn more information and register at https://bit.ly/2AfbBaN.

Seminar 1: Introduce the social enterprise model to the communities, individuals, organizations, which practice culture, art and creativity in Vietnam. The speaker will be Lawyer Tran Thanh Huyen from Nguyen Hung Quang Law Firm and Associates

Seminar 2: Learn about UN recommendations for freedom of artistic expression in Vietnam with speakers Nghiem Hoa, Coordinator of the Human Rights Space.

Seminar 3: Cultural Creative Hubs: Effective Symbiosis ly and respond to changes and challenges –  Cooperation to share resources in Vietnam conditions. The speaker will be Truong Uyen Ly, Director of Hanoi Grapevine and special guests

Seminar 4: Film festival as a cultural creative hub –  lessons from Vietnam and countries around the world with speaker Phan Dang Di, Founder and Chairman of the Autumn meeting Film Festival.
