VIRTUAL REALITY TECHNOLOGY: “BRINGING HERITAGE TO THE MORDEN DAY”

In response to the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2022, the Virtual Reality platform for entertainment and education – Holomia has provided a virtual reality for heritage experience: “Bringing heritage to the morden day” with the purpose of bringing people together. People can interact, learn, experience or entertain together in a space, virtual play areas without barriers of geographical, time and distance.

To highlight the theme of “Design and Creation” of the festival, Holomia brings to the festival many attractive practical technology experience content, such as: Virtual reality games, with Vietnamese cultural experiences through harvesting coconut, Long Thanh Archer, or becoming a warrior fighting for Ly dynasty; Virtual reality tourism, visitors will be able to see ancient Thang Long and contemporary Vietnamese heritages in the Metaverse world such as: visiting Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage, visiting One Pillar Pagoda,…; Seeing Hang Trong paintings, gold and silver jewelry, creative design items of the Ly dynasty. The innovations from this technology are also expected to clearly and diversely depicts Vietnam that is already very beautiful and lively in the real world.

In the current trend, when tourists need to “smart” experience, the application of technology in the conservation and promotion of heritage values associated with tourism development will meet the development needs in the new context. It will also be a way for heritage to “live” in contemporary and future life.
