84 excellent projects received the 17th National Technical Innovation Award

VNA – On the evening of April 23, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Vietnam Technical Innovation Support Fund (VIFOTEC) organized the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the Creativity Contest. 17th National Technical Institute (2022 – 2023).

Ông Lê Quang Huy, Ủy viên Trung ương Đảng, Chủ nhiệm Ủy ban Khoa học, Công nghệ và Môi trường của Quốc hội cùng ông Phan Xuân Dũng, Chủ tịch Liên hiệp các Hội Khoa học và Kỹ thuật Việt Nam, Chủ tịch Quỹ VIFOTEC, Trưởng ban Tổ chức Giải thưởng đã trao thưởng cho các nhóm tác giả đoạt giải Nhất.

The 17th National Technical Innovation Contest (2022 – 2023) has made important progress. The Contest Organizing Committees of provinces, cities, ministries and branches selected 587 high-prize winning solutions to participate in the National Technical Creativity Contest. In 2023, the Award Organizing Committee rewards 84 projects including: 6 First prizes, 12 Second prizes, 24 Third prizes, 42 Consolation prizes.

Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, Phan Xuan Dung, assessed that the above achievements are a great source of encouragement for scientists, collectives and individuals who are working creatively to contribute to the creation of science and technology. The Organizing Committee awarded 6 first prizes: Solution “Improving the FO fuel export system and optimizing operating conditions to import additional raw materials to the RFCC workshop through the Jetty product export port and process at the Factory Dung Quat oil refinery” of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company, Quang Ngai province; Solution “Research, design and manufacture TBS-19 shooting practice equipment for infantry shooting training” by Major and Master Doan Van Dung, Military Technical Academy (Ministry of National Defense); Solution “Application of DTI diffusion magnetic resonance technique to investigate central and peripheral nerve fiber bundles at University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital – Hue University” by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Thao, University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Hue University, Thua Thien – Hue province; Solution “Research and design of control and communication modules applied to smart electrical devices in the Smart Home product/service ecosystem” by Master Nguyen Doan Anh Ket, Center for Research and Development technology No., Rang Dong Thermos Light Bulb Joint Stock Company, Hanoi City; Solution “Research and design of parts to serve the production of shopping carts using automatic shopping robots and automatic painting” by Lieutenant, Engineer Do Duc Hanh, Factory 17, General Department of Industry – National room (Ministry of National Defense); Solution “Investigation, survey, and construction of a database of marine environment along the inaccessible islands of the Truong Sa Archipelago based on the application of remote sensing and GIS technology” by Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Phan Quoc Yen, Military Technical Academy (Ministry of National Defense).

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also signed a Decision to reward 9 units and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in propagating, disseminating and organizing the Contest. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awards Creative Labor Certificates to individuals who are chairmen and co-chairmen whose solutions win first, second, and third prizes.

The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union awarded the Creative Youth Badge to the authors of the first prize winning projects and Certificates of Merit to the authors of the second and third prize winning projects aged 35 and under.
