“THÂN THÂN THƯƠNG THƯƠNG” – THE MEETING OF BODY REALITIES

There are countless physical realities, and with them, an endless array of ways to perceive and interact with the world. People with disabilities experience and engage with the world in ways that differ from those without disabilities.

Moving together, so that these physical realities can meet, offers an opportunity to explore how each person lives, breathes, and interacts with the world. It is also a way to tell our own stories and find connections with others. A gentle touch, a moment of harmony between seemingly opposing differences, can help us reflect on ourselves, understand, and recognize the beauty in diversity amid the constant motion of our busy lives.

From December 16th to 19th, Kinergie Studio, Goethe-Institut Hanoi, and the Dutch Embassy invite you to meet and interact with various physical realities and life experiences through the workshop and performance series “Thân thân thương thương” (Loving Body, Loving Body). The series consists of:

• 02 Workshops (Evening of December 16-17): Experience movement through contemporary dance, explore, and connect through creative exercises. [Registration is closed]
• 01 Inclusive Movement Experience (December 19): A concluding event where the movements tell an emotional story of harmony and love.

Target Audience for the Workshop Series:

• For people with disabilities: The workshop is designed and equipped with suitable and optimal facilities to support individuals with mobility impairments. We kindly ask for your understanding regarding the program’s limitations.
• For people without disabilities: The workshop is suitable for those who have experience with movement and/or are practicing an art form related to movement.

The Inclusive Movement Experience (Evening of December 19) is open to everyone!

“Thân thân thương thương” – A Meeting of Physical Realities
This art series uses contemporary dance as a language to connect diverse bodies. With support from the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam, Goethe-Institut Hanoi, and Kinergie Studio, the program hopes to create spaces where respect and connection are nurtured through artistic and humanistic experiences.
