On the afternoon of July 18, 2025, in Hanoi, Kiến trúc (Architecture) Magazine collaborated with various organizations and individuals operating in the creative sector to organize the seminar “Unleashing Creativity: Hanoi Creative Design Fair 2025.” The goal was to exchange ideas, define objectives, and shape the plan for organizing the annual Hanoi Creative Design Festival.

The seminar saw the participation of representatives from the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Kiến trúc Magazine, Hanoi Grapevine, the University of Fine Arts, the Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center, the Vietnam Interior Association, Long Biên Art Fair, Tòhe, Tinh hoa Nghề Việt, Đình Collective, and many other creative entities.

The Hanoi Creative Design Fair is positioned as a satellite activity of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival, aimed at maintaining community connection and setting the stage for the main event in the following year. In her opening remarks, the representative of the organizing committee, Ms. Bùi Thị Thanh Hương, M.A., Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Kiến trúc Magazine – Vietnam Association of Architects, emphasized the vision of building a long-term program that creates a platform for connecting and sustaining the creative community, while also expanding the scope, exchanging ideas, and introducing products to investors. The objective of the Hanoi Creative Design Fair is to bring together diverse industries, creating a space for creative practitioners, investors, and the public to meet.

During the discussion, the opinions focused on three main groups of issues: the scale of the Fair, the organizational content, and financial matters. All opinions expressed a desire for a Fair with a clear scale, focusing on feasible components and prioritizing organization at a location with existing infrastructure and safety conditions. The Fair should expand into many other design fields and creative products with practical applications. Regarding finance, the representatives hoped that the Organizing Committee would develop a resource mobilization strategy aimed at creating a stable financial foundation for subsequent fairs and festivals.
